Landeskog impressive with a step forward

3/3/12: RNH not in action, Landeskog advances

I. Summary of the Events 3/3/12

i) Landeskog: Admittedly, I was only able to see the highlights of the Colorado-Pittsburgh game…but it was impressive. Landeskog was physical and was the main cog driving the wheel tonight. Led his team in ice time, and directly contributed to his team’s only goal. 20 more games like that one and our boy Nuge doesn’t stand a chance.

ii) Hodgson: Pointless in his return to Vancouver, Hodgson came up second best to his trade partner as Kassian posted an impressive goal and an assist. The highlight reel showed one weak outside shot by Hodgson.

II) Preview of 4/3/12

Busy Sunday in the chase for the Calder!

Everyone except RNH and Hodgson are playing on a loaded Sunday. I am expecting Henrique to push forward with the gung slinging Islanders on the card. Interested to see how Read produces against Washington, the same team that Henrique put up 2 points against.

Meanwhile in Palm Springs, RNH reaches for his 3 wood…
